From normal scarf to a chunky infinity scarf

It's getting chilly where I live so it's almost time to wear chunky wool scarves! I love wearing wool scarves during fall and winter because its great as an accessory and to keep you warm in.

I have to say, I have a ton of regular wool scarves just one long piece and it's like no one wears them anymore! Everyone wears infinity scarves or circle scarves (same thing just different names) so here's a short tutorial on how to turn your own long wool scarves into an infinity scarf. The best thing about these scarves is that you can always undo it and you have your original scarf back!

Materials you need:
  • A wool scarf
  • A needle with a huge hole
  • Embroidery thread ( ones for friendship bracelets) or wool that matches the color of your scarf

Step one. Thread your desired thread through the needle

Step two. Match the ends of the scarf together, keeping the tags outside! Make sure to tie a knot first to make sure your stitching and tread is secured.

Step 3. Sew the ends together. All I did was a simple stitch and make sure that all your stitches are close together to reduce huge holes around the edge (that would be embarrassing now)

Step 4. Turn your scarf inside out so now all your stitching are hidden inside.

It's super easy to make :) This might be just an idea for you, the steps are really easy so it doesn't really take a lot of effort or time at all. You can do this too all your scarves and when the infinity scarf trend ends, just cut the thread and you have your original scarf!
